Kristen Stewart Style & Fashion...

Kristen Stewart.  I wanna show maybe 5 of like my fave outfits on her just for fun.  Fun, meaning I love talking about fashion, and if you've been reading, we all know that.  I know my fashion icon is Nicole Richie, (well we all know), & I love WinterKate & House of Harlow, they're my fave brands.  But I love celeb style, just like I love Nicole's, but everyone has something to contribute.  Not everyone, but the pple I'll be mentioning in this blog will.  And I'll be doing celeb street style a lot, because that's where a lot of my inspiration comes.  Not dressing exactly like someone, so to say, but taking bits & pieces from each trend...& bam, you can be a fashionista.  And without even trying.  I'm not saying Kristen Stewart doesn't try to look good.  Point is, she doesn't have too.  First off, she's a natural beauty, as compared to a Jessica Simpson or even Kim Kardashian, where they won't leave the house without coverup on.  But that's ok, cuz i love their styles too, but Kristen has a more natural way of be sexy & appealing. 

Now look at the two above pics of just her face.  She is really beautiful.  She prob doesn't know how lucky she is, b/c we all know that there's always something we want to change about ourselves, when, really, I think she's perfect.  Why does she even have to try?  She can throw on a Chaser LA tee, a pair of Jbrand jeans, & Converse sneakers and look like a rockstar.  I love that.  I love rocking my designer style with casual nonchalance...make it look effortless, yet classy.  So my fave outfits on Kristen...you may think they're plain, but it's the way she pulls it off, the presentation.  She's not faking it.  So, let's go.

I love her in leather jacket's and you know what? I think she likes them too.  I actually got my leather jacket inspired by her, not WinterKate for a change.  I love her rocking the all white Converse with most likely Jbrand jeans,  & a black tee.  She always, always, if you notice, have some kinda awesome wristware, (& I'm not talking about diamonds, I'm talking about shit that is really funky & one of a kind). 

This is another outfit I like with the black leather, skinny jeans...& if I knew the label of the shirt's or yellow "jacket" on the inside, I would mention.  Do tell if anyone knows.  She rocks the yellow really good with the blue sneakers.  She knows what looks good on her and she feels comfortable, which in turn makes her confident & appealing to the public.  Although in my opinion, I don't think Kristen care's what anyone thinks! :) Which is dope.  I also love how her hair is the "bed messy" or, "I just had sex", type of style.  I love her hair either way, tied back or straight, or even short like when she played, Joan Jett, in, "The Runaways, (her style was awesome in that movie too); but I love the long messy look.  It looks like she can flop it around and it will still look styled, when I'm not sure it even is!  Point is, she has great hair too.  See, all natural beauty shit.  That's why she doesn't need to try hard at all.  And I'm glad she doesn't.  Well, I think she doesn't:)

Pic above, respectivally, Nikki Reed, & Kristen.  Now I love Nikki's outfit too, but Kristen's shirt is the shit.  You see she's wearing her infamous Converses, which she should prob advertise for them b/c, well, she could be a walking advertisement.  I saw her rocking them like this, I bought a low pair & a high pair.  And I love wearing them with my skinny jeans, whether they're Jbrand, JET, Current Elliott, etc...Plus you'll also notice that Kristen loves those black Rayban Wayfers.  And I do admit, they go perfect with her look.  Plus the whole Twilight, "vampire" thing.  You can catch Rob Pattinson in them all the time too. 

Now I know you may be wondering why I picked this pic, but I love it.  I love tying my shirts in knots like that, and to be honest, not a lot of pple can get away with that.  Too many "muffin tops", out there.  (No offense!) But Kristen has obviously a slim body, that's why she can show her tummy & still wear skinny jeans, black socks & sneakers?  Ok, I could NEVER pull this look off i think.  I would have to wear bootleg or wide leg jeans to pull of the tied knot, (showing off my stomach).  This is in my opinion, when of course the pple who think I'm a natural beauty, (yeah right!), tell me I can pull this off too. Ha!

I wanted to pick two event pics.  First this one.  I think it was her first MTV movie awards for Twilight & she rolls in with her Converses, no doubt & a dress that looks like I can get from one of those store's in the mall, what's the name of it? Damn, I'm blanking.  But her dress is not from a store in a mall at all. The designer is Yigal Azrouel.  But she came off as really cool & accessible, & that's what pple like.  Not just the "Fashion Police", kinda stuff they have an E!  I'm not sure you'd see Kristen on that kinda show, but, sometimes that's a damn good thing.  It's more thrilling seeing the Red Carpet of course, & she just looked so casual.  & of course she won that year, 2009.

The last pic was at one of her Eclipse premieres.  Can I just say hot???? Her hair tyed back shows the outline of her beautiful, scultped face...shadowy eye makeup, but still very natural.  And she's got this lean, awesome body, where she can pull off mini's very well.  Very well!!!

So here's to Kristen & fashion.  And pleaes stay tuned for more celeb street style & fashion posts.  There "my opinion posts, that is"!   But hey, I wouldn't have written this blog if I wasn't "good" at fashion or had some kinda knack for it.  Plus it's a huge passion along with my movies, music & "khaotic" adventures, like being in prison!  But pple tell me all the time, I should be a stylest.  (In my dreams)...Maybe a fashion critic? (Also in my dreams!)
So Kristen is def not on my Worst best dressed list, she's actually pretty up there.  Or I wouldn't be taking the time to write about it, I guess!

Going back to my bong, talk to you at later date...unless I get inspired again.  Maybe I got inspired to talk about Kristen today b/c I wore my Converses with skinny Jbrand jeans, & a Chaser La tee (Van Halen).  Because of Kristen Stewart, I feel, that look is now popular. A lot of looks are b/c of her.  But she still is always herself.  And I noticed she really doesn't like being in front of paparazzi!!!! But I don't blame her, I think!

House of Harlow, Valentines day jewelry options...

So in my previous posts, I talked about all my WinterKate & House of Harlow clothing/jewelry pieces that I already own, so I could start talking about my future with those labels.  Valentines day is coming up before my bday, which is in March, & I gotta pick a HOH piece that's within an acceptable price range for my husband, b/c he's also getting me a pair of black Hunterwellington boots, like I've said before.  So on top of the boots, he want's to get me a piece of jewelry...& he know's it has to be House of Harlow, when it comes to me.  So someone asked me my choices for Valentines day so far, & I just want to say, I was going to try to complete the gold cocktail set, since I have the ring already.  You know, get the cocktail cuff or bangle...but the cocktail cuff is about $175, so that's a bit much with the boots.  The bangle is at least $75, which he can swing...so I might get that.

I'm gonna have to wait on the cuff, with the boots, its just not reasonable to get right now, but I will, i promise you that!

I've also wanted to switch a bit from gold to silver now. I have one of her silver stackable rings, but most of her pieces have some gold on them, so I was looking at the HH tribal collection, & maybe get a wrap ring in white, instead of gold.

I would also take the above cocktail rings in black or white.  Black goes with pretty much anything, if you're wearing silver jewelry it will match, as well as the white.  (I don't know how i'm gonna pick)...& I want these small pieces as well as the bigger, but we're just talking about V-day for now.  Like I said, if I wasn't getting the boots, I would pick more jewelry or a more expensive piece, but I want those boots!!!! So my bday will be good.  More HH & WinterKate.

 

 

I also have the above Key ring, so I could always get one of the gold key necklaces, but like I said, i'm trying to go for something other than gold, but again, it's hard to rule any of these out.  I have to decide by the end of the week.  Oh Geez!

I also want the stackable bangles, I don't have any of these and these have been out for a while! I guess i like necklaces & rings more, so that's why I was concentrating on getting, but I'm into bangles lately.  One of them, any of those colors would do.  Eventually I want all of them! I sould like a broken record with this shit sometimes!!!!

Either way, again I have to thank Nicole Richie for creating this line, I don't know what I would do without her shit.  What did I do before?  I still tried to dress like her, i guess.  That's why Im getting those particular Hunter boots anyway & not a $20 pair from Target.  They're cute, trendy & seen on a lot of celebs, besides Nicole.

Ok it's my day off, & I'd love to keep blogging, but I'm not on the computer 24/7 guys!!! Doing the best I can, & almost 80 posts since October, (when this glorious blog was created by "muah"),...I think is ok.  Or maybe not good enough, I don't know. 
Ok, gots to go for today, getting nails done, need to shower & do my hair for tomorrow, & just basically chill.  I'm watching Easy A again right now, b/c I love Emma Stone, (read my review a few posts down), but 90210 & Gossip Girl are on tonight too! Yay!

All my House of Harlow 1960 pieces So far...

So, you've read my previous post about my WinterKate items, & now it's House of Harlow's turn.  I love her jewelry, (obviously), & accessories just as much as her clothes.  I want everything!  And I do have a lot of jewelry of hers & a pair of HH shoes, but she just keeps coming out with more shit, so it's hard to catch up!  But I'm gonna be adding within the next two months, which you have read, due to Valentines & my bday.  So i wanna catch u up like I did with WinterKate, with all the House of Harlow items I have, this way when I recieve more, we can put these in the past & talk about the future.  Plus I love to share what I have with the world anyway!!!!

All my WinterKate items SO Far...

It's Saturday morning, I got up wayy to early.  Its already 11am & I've been up since 7am.  My head is heavy.  I've smoked a bit, took my anxiety meds, had some coffee, & decided to write, while I'm watching, "Easy A", again.  I love that movie.  The review I wrote about that movie & Emma Stone, is an a previous post. 
Anywhoo, I wanted to catch u up on the WinterKate items I have so far.  Valentines day & my 29th bday is coming up, respectivaly, V-day, Feb 14th, (obviously), & my bday in March.  So I got so many WinterKate items for xmas that I decided for Valentines Day that my husband is buying me Hunterwellington Boots, seen on celebs like, Nicole, Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen, Rachel Bilson, Jennifer Aniston, etc..., with the weather that's going on right now, (a blizzard every week), they will come in handy, plus they're cute & trendy.  I will post more about them, when I recieve them.  And since the Hunter boots are at a kinda reasonable price, meaning you can get them at http://www.zappos.com/ for about $125, he's also gonna get me one another piece of HH, adding to my collection, considering it IS Vday, & he'd like to get me a piece of jewelry, as well as the boots.  So, I'm gonna pick a reasoble priced HH ring or bangle that I do not have yet, that's on sale at amazon.com or wherever.  I'm a good online shopper, all I'll have to do is send him the link.  And it's only about 15min of research on trying to find the site with the lowest price or discount codes/coupons. 
So back to WinterKate, cuz my next post will be on the HH jewelry I have so far as well, so everyone is caught up with my fashion shit.  You all know I love it!  So I'm gonna picture every item I have so far...everybody with me?

Jessica Simpson's Engagement Ring & Details

So, for some latest new, maybe not THE latest...cuz it's been heard before, but I just didn't touch on it.  Now being a fan of Jessica Simpson, I feel it is my duty to touch on it, at least!  Jessica is a great talent.  She's so beautiful, a natural beauty.  Her voice is absolutely mindblowing.  She can sing & break all the windows in my apt, most likely!  She's enchanting, every boys fantasy & every girls idol.  She's also a fashion icon.   When the hit show, "Newlyweds", was on TV, (I own the dvds), it was an instant success & put Jessica on the map, even tho I think she woulda done fine without it as well.  B/c she is so talented & she's not faking anything. 
One of the reasons I loved the show, besides the dynamic between her & Nick, was her clothes.  I always wanted to see what she was going to be wearing.  I'm sure most pple were interested in the show b/c of the fashion.  She started trends.  Fat, skinny, whatever you want to call her, (which is def skinny or normal), she can pull of looks.  She always has good presentation & I wish I had the money to dress like her.  (With some items, that is...like her huge bags.  She has some great bags.

Anyway, watch this clip of Jessica talking about her engagement to Eric Johnson.  She talks about her ring & how he had planned it, etc...I could go on about it, but you could watch the above clip as well.  I'm just glad Jess is happy, we know from tabloids, that she hasn't had it easy all the time.  But she's a survivor!
Jessica Simpson is a name brand that she created which resulted in a clothing line with & basically a reputation for making very good business decsions, when most pple think of her as just a "blonde."  She's also really funny, she was on Newlyweds.  And she seems approachble & down to earth.  She just want's to be happy & I'm glad she finally found it in athlete, Eric. 
Jess also has another show, "The Price of Beauty," on VH1, which is really cool show for her to do.  It trys to show woman how to be confident with themsevles.   Because in the past, Jessica dealt with issues with her own self esteem, if anyone could believe it.   Jessica never looks fat or ugly to me.  She is fabulous, trendy & talented.

Britney Spears - Toxic (Live)

The iconic Britney Spears.  How could we not possibly all love her?  Even with all her ups and downs that were publicly in the media, I was always rooting for Brit.  I mean who wasn't.  All those haters can suck it, cause just like everyone thought, she wasn't gone!
I've loved Britney for a long time, I mean I'm 28.  I actually first saw her perform at Westbury Music Garden, a small venue close to my town that was featuring Nysnc, when they first hit the scene with, "Tearing up my Heart."  My friend and I didn't even know who she was at that point b/c her first single, "Baby, One More Time", which I absolutely loved & still love just started playing on the radio.  She wasn't the pop princess when I first saw her.  But I'm glad I at least got to see her perform once, I can say that.  I've never been to one of her bigger concerts after she did declare herself the new "Pop Princess", even tho I've wanted too.  Britney is an amazing entertainer.  That's the one thing I love about her, besides her style & her "gossip", so to say.  I'm in awe everytime I've seen her perform on awards shows or TV...she continues to amaze me with her fabulous dancing skills.  I mean, she is NO Christina Aguilera, (no disrespect), whose trying to dance around on stage and look good.  Britney Spears is a phenomanol dancer.  She's like better than her backup dancers!
If I could hang out with Brit, I'd want to have a dance party with her, just jam or have or teach me, better yet!!! But the skills she has with dancing, you're born with that.  She was a born entertainer. 
Now we can go into many Britney stories or songs, but for now, I'd like to share this performace of, "Toxic."  Now I coulda picked so many other performances or songs, (& I most certainly will vary), b/c I love all her albums, from, "Baby One More Time", to "Circus.  I have all of them & her greatest hits.  If you want to get pumped or get cheered up, def put on a Brit song!!!
I first heard the song "Toxic", in college.  That was almost 7rs ago, i think.  I was all fucked up on drugs & I see Britney's Diary on Mtv.  You remember that show, right?  That was a good show.  So they showed her perform her new single for her new album she was promoting at that time, which happened to be, "In The Zone."  Great album, just like the rest.  So I sat in awe watching her perform, like I said.  It's a dope performance that made wanna just get up and learn every move, or just dance.  I wound up catching it again on Mtv, & I recorded it so I could watch it over & over.  This isn't the exact one I saw that night, almost 7yrs ago.  But it was the same choreography & moves basically.  But it doesn't matter anyway, cuz I've never been disappointed with one of her live acts.  Even when the critics were, i wasn't. 
So Enjoy peeps and I don't want to forget to post a pic of her two other famous performances that are worthy of posting as well, but for some other time!

Yup, you can't forget those.  These performances, respectivaly, "I'm a Slave for You, & "Oops I did it Again", were on previous Mtv awards shows.  And...before Toxic was released.  Just in case you didn't know!
Damn she's hot and hit touchdowns with those above performances.  So we'll talk Britney later? Ok.

I'm gonna watch my shows tonight, it's Thursday so it's a good roundup on NBC with, "The Office", "Parks & Recreations", & "30Rock."  Plus the most recent guilty pleasure for everyone, "The Jersey Shore", on Mtv.  It's gonna be good!!! I got my pot, my cigs & I'm ready to go.   Btw...of course I just watched the video I posted of "Toxic", and it still gives me chills.   Loves it!!!

Kim Kardashian Graces "Glamour"! & more!

I wanted to say a couple things about the beautiful & stunning Kim Kardashian.  Now I like all the Kardashians, thanks to their hit TV show on E!, "Keeping up with the Kardashians."  I'm pretty sure their into like their 4th season of that show, plus the spinoffs they've done like, "Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami", & the newest premiere of, "Kourt & Kim.", all on E!  

I know I focus a lot of my attention on Nicole Richie's style, but that doesn't mean I don't idolize other celeb's fashion sense.  I picked that pic of Kim above because of her stunning accessories.  The sunglasses, the fingerless glove, & the necklace that makes the outfit pop! I also love blazers and you can catch Kim walking around in all different kinds of blazers in magazines, on her show, & of course on so many websites, such as http://www.celebritystyleguide.com/, or http://www.jessicastyle.com/.  If you visit these websites & type in Kim's name, most of her pics will come up with what she's wearing, the brand name, & where to purchase it, if you can! I do this all the time, with what I can afford of course.  And again, I'm very lucky.  I have more than the average person has & let's just say I don't buy my outfits at Target.  And I am not hating on Target, that store is great, but for my clothes...I just take that a little more seriously.  I'm sure Kim can relate! I do buy tanks & little stuff there, tees or what not, but if I'm getting a blazer, so to say, I'm gonna look up a brand name most likely. 
Anyway, I picked this clip to post of Kim b/c she talks about a couple of topics that i could relate too.  She graced the cover of Glamour's Guy issue this month.  Why wouldn't she?  She's every guys fantasy girl & maybe some gals as well!
She talks about men & how all we really need is for them to keep it simple, when usually with men everything get's twisted around & goes to the extreme, when really all us girls want is it for to be simple...just say I love you, (that kinda thing),  I agree with Kim on that!  Especially being married...everything is so complicated at times, when It's not supposed to be., assuming I need more that what he's giving, when all I want is him.  Is that what you meant, Kim? :)
Also she gives some simple makeup tips.  Now, I've heard Kim say this before...that she never leaves the house without concealer or some type of coverup because she says she has really dark circles under her eyes, which I'm sure she's the only one who see's! But I like that too, because I can't walk out of the house without some sort of "face", on.  Some girls can, but I def need powder or coverup just to smoothe & even out my skin, even if I'm not wearing a shitload of other makeup.  She also doesn't wash her hair everyday! And I don't either!  You're not supposed too, I know that for a fact & obviously so does Kim.  My hairdresser told me that a looong time ago.  Too be honest, I think my hair looks better the second day, after I straighten or whatever. 

Anyway, I'm starting to ramble about the clip, when you can just watch it above, but stay tuned for more posts on the Kardashians, they're hot and they all deserve lots of posts from me!
I just wanted to throw in some style & news for ya & Kim took this one.  I actually missed the new show the other night...thank God for DVR, watching it tonight after the new episodes of 90210 & Gossip Girl.  Im sure it was great!!!!

Eminem -" I'm Back", live in Concert! Dope track & performace...O.o!

Eminem, do I need say more?  What a great talent & super sexy.  I don't know anyone who isn't a fan of him.  Boys, girls, & even the haters!  You'll either love him or hate him, & shit do I love him.  I have all of his albums & they are all equally great.  His lyrics & beats are so distinctive, that you can't mistake him for any other rapper.  He's done collaborations with everyone I can think of, & I'm sure there are  millions of artists out there that would love to work with him.  I would if I was a star!
I saw him live more than once....in the above concert clip, (not that actual concert), but the tour.  He came out with that "Jason" mask on with overalls, & the crowd went wild.  He picked the perfect song to open with, "I'm Back", off his second album. 
This is a dope song, & it's even doper to watch him live, especially cuz he's attractive & talented.  This won't be the last time I discuss Em, there are too many great songs out there not to share on this blog, but for now....let's take a look & give a shoutout to the one & only Slim Shady.

Kristen Bell: Breakout Comedic Actress!

So I just saw the movie, "You Again", starring the gorgeous Kristen Bell as  Marni Oliva Olsen, Jamie Lee Curtis as Gail Olsen, Sigourney Weaver as Aunt Mona, (Ramona), Odette Yustman as Joanna, & Betty White as Grandma Bunny. 
Ok...I didn't have to see the previews to know that I wanted to see this movie as well as so many others Ive seen.  First off, I love Kristen Bell.  She is such a beatiful, talented & funny actress!  I have to say that she  really is a comedic actor by now.  We saw her in Forgetting Sarah Marshall with Jason Segal, Mila Kunis, & Russell Brand, which I think is a movie that a lot of people got to know her in.  Yes she was a guest star for the TV series Heroes, (which I never saw), for the 2nd season, & she's been in movies like Pulse as well, but Forgetting Sarah Marshall, I think we all took to her as this new hot actress that could hold her own in an high quality ensemble cast.  She played Sarah, (of course), who starred in a CSI/like type show that dumps her boyfriend of 5yrs, Peter, (Jason Segal), abruptly for Aldous Snow, (Russell Brand), the lead singer for the band, "Infant Sorrow." 

The whole rest of this movie is basically Peter trying to get over Sarah, by going to Hawaii for some R&R, but to his surprise, Sarah & Aldous are vacationing there as well, so you can imagine the trouble that ensues when all put together including the beautiful concierge, Rachel, (Mila Kunis), who helps Peter out in the beginning & feelings develop between them.  It's a great flick, & it's hilarious.  Jonah Hill also guest stars as an overly obsessive fan of Aldous & Paul Rudd cameos a bit as a stoner surfer "instructer." Now I love Mila Kunis as well and you can read more about her in my review of "Black Swan", but today we focus on Kristen.

She was also really great in the movie, "Couples Retreat", with an all star cast such as Vince Vaughn, Jason Bateman, Malin Akerman, Kristin Davis, Jon Favreau, Jean Reno, & Faizon Love.  She played Cynthia, who is married to Jason, (Jason Batemen).  They are a completely neurotic couple whose marriage is hanging on by a thread.  They've tried many times to have a baby, & failed, so they decide to drag their friends on a retreat "paradise" vacation to a place called Eden West where couples stay together, as where the resort Eden East, is where all the single peeps are at.  The 4 couples decide to stay at Eden West and endure some "couple groups", to enjoy the rest of the activities. The only couple that really wants to participate in these couple skillbuilding activties are Cynthia & Jason, while the rest realize that this tropical pacakge isn't pliable, & each MUST partake in the the excersises, even if they don't need it.  But soon you'll see the faults in every couple while their taking these "classes" or "groups" & of course it creates chaos, really funny chaos! 

I think Kristen was one of the funniest actresses in this movie.  Actually she was def the funniest. 

So I started out talking about what an amazing job Kristen did in the recent flick, "You Again".

Marni was a geek in high school.   She was bullied & tormeted everyday.  No guy would talk to her and she was the laugh of the school.  Her worst enemy was the head cheerleader, Joanna, (she kinda looks like Megan Fox a bit, but I haven't seen her acting in anything else), who tortured her to the point of no return, so to say. Yes back then, Marni was the epitamy if nerdiness, she had glasses, greasy hair & bangs, acne,...but no one deserves to be bullied like she was!  The mean girls and Joanna traumatized her for life! 

As she grew up, Marni lost the glasses, bangs & acne, plus she scored a great PR job that just promoted her to their New York offices.  She has confidence, she looks good, & u can tell she feels good.  I mean high school was in the past, right?  Wrong. 

So when she found out her arch nemisis was marrying her brother, Will, she freaked out.  And I mean freaked out!  This is why Kristen Bell was so funny in this movie, cuz you don't see her playing the insecure role as much.  She had to sit with airport security the whole flight home b/c she couldn't calm down.  Now that was a hilarious part of the movie, of many.   If only Joanna apologized to Marni on sight, b/c that's all Marni really wanted, was a sincere apology.  But then it wouldn't be a movie.  A movie with girl fights, manipulations, dancing & all that other good stuff we love to watch.  So Marni now wants to destroy the relationship between Joanna & Will, to protect her brother from the bully back in high school.

Now as all this is going on, Marni's mother, Gail, (Jamie Lee Curtis), is having the same exact problem with  her former friend from high school...(Joanna's Aunt Mona).  "Ramona?", Gail said when she saw who she was looking at.  And Aunt Mona, (Sigorney Weaver), looked damn good for her age and was set on showing that off to Gail. They even had Grandma Bunny's, (Betty White), former high school rival make an appearance at the end, just for shits and giggles.  Which, they succeeded! 

Here are the two showing up in the same dress, Gail obviously looks more insecure while Ramona is hamming it up for everyone.  See what high school does to some people? :)

So I spent the whole time laughing during this movie, from a funny little brother to the outrageous wedding planner, it's definitely a hit in my book.   And again, I can't say enough about Kristen Bell. 

Verdict: watch Kristen in all these movies!
